The Smile Hamburger

Jag älskar kött! Så är det bara, och jag åt massor med kött när jag bodde i Sverige. Men grejen är den att man äter inte riktigt samma mängder av kött (vanligt vis) i Japan som man gör i Sverige. Främst gäller detta såklart hemlagad mat, det finns steak restauranger och koreanska grill restauranger även i Japan, så vill man så kan man verkligen äta hur mycket kött som helst, och i vilka prisklasser som helst.

Men när jag och min pojkvän är ute på date eller på shopping i Shinjuku så brukar vi för det mesta äta lunch på min absolut favorit när det kommer till hamburgerrestauranger, THE SMILE (för jag blir så sugen på kött!).

THE SMILE ligger på den sjunde våningen på Lumine EST i Shinjuku. Vi brukar äta där därför att priserna inte är för höga, mellan 1000 till 2000JPY (64 till 128SEK, väldigt vanliga priser för kedjerestauranger av den kvalitén i Japan) och för att maten är supergod! Jag rekommenderar avokadoburgaren och  hallonsmoothien! Man kan även välja om man vill ha tjocka eller smala pommes!
Restaurangen ligger även väldigt bra till när man är ute och shoppar, därför att på våningarna under (främst våningen B1) ligger det massor av klädesbutiker som du absolut inte får missa om du ska till Japan! (även UNGRID finns där), och då är det ju bara att gå upp till 7:e våningen när man är hungrig!

I just love meat! I simply can not be without it, and I ate a lot of it when I lived back in Sweden. But the thing is that one (most people) does not really eat the same amount of meat here in japan. Although this mostly applies for home-cooked meals, because there are steak restaurants and Korean BBQ restaurants in Japan as well, and you can get it in any price range.

But when me and my boyfriend is on a date or on shopping in Shinjuku, we usually eat on my absolute favorite hamburger restaurant, THE SMILE (since I get a carving for meat).

THE SMILE is on the seventh floor of Lumine EST in Shinjuku. We use to eat there because the prizes are not too high, between 1000 and 2000JPY (normal prizes for chain restaurants of that quality in Japan) and because the food is super delicious! I recommend the avocado burger and raspberry smoothie! You can also choose what kind of fries you like, 'wedges' or 'shoestrings'.
The restaurant is also located very nicely for when you are out shopping, because on the floors under (especially the floor B1) there are a lot of Japanese brands that you just can not miss when you are in Japan (UNGRID is also located there). So when you are hungry, you will just have to go up to the 7th floor!
